Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Duck Inn

Estate pub, now run by Hop Back Brewery (so good beer) and also a much better food offering than one might expect in such a location. Large L-shaped bar; sparsely furnished and simply decorated but well maintained. Also has a patio beer garden to the side with the main door from the car park. Summer Lightning, GFB and the seasonal Spring Zing (£5.20) from the bank of five handpumps.

Bit of a find, a Hop Back estate pub designed in a Swiss chalet style abutting the side of a hill and partially surrounded by mature trees. Lovely job with the flora and fauna in the front garden, looks very inviting. COVID meant we sat outside but from my peek inside during the obligatory toilet stop it looked like somewhere gently marooned in the late 1970’s, which is fine by me. Two Hop Back ales on; Summer Lightning (NBSS 3.5) and GFB (4). 7.5

E TA left this review about The Duck Inn

The Duck is a friendly, working village pub which has a thriving local clientele and a good atmosphere. it's basic, unpretentious and fun. Food is good value for money, and the Hopback beers are always well kept. My last Summer Lightning and GFB were both thoroughly enjoyable and I will certainly return for more. It's a way off any otehr pubs so difficult to fit into a crawl, but it's worth fininf if you're got the time, especially at weekends and lunchtimes.
