A great welcome in a pub with plenty of regulars - always good to see. The menu is inviting, the dishes we chose were great. Everything is locally sourced and freshly prepared - we had the rabbit pie and fillet steak. Delicious and well prepared. We started with the pub's own home cured charcuterie, which was excellent. Although we were full, we couldn't resist trying one of the tempting puddings - a lovely fruit crumble with home made ice cream. The service was very attentive. There is a comprehensive wine list at sensible prices. The Fox has a real touch of sophistication without losing the pub atmosphere. All in all a great find! There's also a nice large, clean garden which they say is popular on sunny days and you can wander off to see the chickens, ducks and pigs!
