After a period of closure following Covid, this village pub looks like it re-opened around 18 months ago. On a Friday lunchtime, there were just 4 other elderly customers in along with the barmaid. The other customers were enjoying some snacks (mainly chips) with their lunchtime drinks. I chose to join them in the bar area, whilst there is also a larger dining room. To the rear is a garden with a children's play area and a car park, both overlooking the Great Western Main Line.
Two real ales were on, with the local Flying Monk Mighty Monk alongside Fuller's London Pride.
