Upmarket multi-room gastro. Drinking here is fine, there's a little bar area at the rear right with leather sofas, Chesterfields, rugs and parquet flooring with middle class objects d'art to peruse. The dining area is a horrific Exorcist vomit green colour, thankfully not repeated where we sat which was more sober. Hard to tell if two or three cask were on offer as of the four pumps two were empty and one other was weirdly double clipped. Anyway what I knew for sure was that there was a rugby themed beer from a local brewery (always best avoided) and Stonehenge Pigswill, a pint of the latter was in good shape (NBSS 3.5). Worth its GBG’23 place but be clear that it is a dining venue first and foremost and therefore I’m unlikely to see the need to revisit just for a pint.
