Went there last night for a Plenty of Fish single night. Stayed about 5 mins enough to drink a beer (not real ale) and escape.
We were disappointed with the standard of the venue. Definitely at the low end of the socio-economic spectrum). Its a plain uninspiring pub which looks from the inside like it hasnt kept up with the standard.
It boasts free use of function room and its plainly clear why.
Poor choice of bitter (only one). Not a place to remember.

A very large pub with a fine selection of beverages. A friendly safe atmosphere and a large reasonably priced oak floored function room upstairs.
