A tolerable locals' town pub with a few bits of nice stained glasswork and some fine internal doors in an otherwise forgettable interior. There is a pool table centred in the front bar and a band area in the back. Very pleasing to find local brew Tigertops Hop Comfort on a handpump - not in the best condition (or was it the beer itself) but just about ok.

Haven't been in here for donkey's years. Main room at the front, bar in the middle with three hand pumps and a room to the rear which is where I sat. Not that bad.
