A good sized pub which is pretty much one large oblong shaped room with a central bar area facing you as you enter. The interior is trendy and tastefully finished, we took our beers over to the booths along the right hand side. Four handpumps on the front bar, with two in use serving Vocation Bread and Butter and TT Landlord. All the keg beers were dispensed from taps along the back of the bar area, which I thought was a good idea as the front bar counter looked uncluttered.
There was a games room upstairs with pool, darts and a basket ball game. Plenty of sports screens around the ground floor and the food offering here is hand stretched pizza.

This building was originally a pub, but has been a Chinese restaurant for about the last 15 years. It's now back to being a pub, which is unusual in the current climate, it's good to see it back. It's more of a bar than a traditional pub now though. You walk straight in to the main room with the bar straight ahead, there's another, smaller room to the right and rear which was set up for dining. There's also a roadside beer garden to the left. 4 handpumps on the bar, but only 3 on during our Friday afternoon visit. The Saltaire Blonde was in very good nick. Very quiet though with only 2 other people in the bar. It's a decent bar with decent lae and we'll call back next time we're in Ripponden.
