The Travellers Rest is a decent looking pub that is on a busy road and a short walk from the New Inn.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub,the room is carpeted,the seating comfy bench seating and small stools,the ceiling is quite low,there is a pool table down one step to the left,this area also has bench seating.
There were no real ales on the bar,so i had a drink of Worthington Cream Crap,the other beer was John Smiths Smooth crap.
There were two TVs showing sky football.
This is a very smart and comfortable pub to have a drink in,just a shame about the lack of a real ale.

Locals pub sited along Leeds Road just outside the town centre.Although there was no cask on offer the landlord and the locals were friendly enough.
