Two room pub, although looks like further rooms existed previously but have been opened out. On visit (8th June 24) 4 cask ales, Hobgoblin Ruby & Gold, Wainwright and one other. Ruby tasted a bit vinegary, but OK. Wainwright was OK. Pub shows sports on TV and was pretty busy (early evening Saturday).

Traditional largely unspoiled pub with a two bar layout. A more lounge like bar to the right with two T-bars, there’s a public to the left with five hand pumps and a selection of screen on sport in spite of the small size of the bar. Banquette seating and stools at rectangular wood on cast iron tables. The beers are from Carlsberg-Marstons Brewing Co with a lacklustre Pedigree, Cumberland and two varieties of Hobgoblin on, a reversed clip Wainwright on the fifth. Lots of brown wood, carpet, dartboard, constant music in the public, the lounge looked brighter and with similar furniture a screen, machine and some dining placements further back. Mixed clientele but tending to middle age as it was a Saturday lunchtime visit.

The Old Hall Hotel is a stone built pub that is situated just off the main road through Farsley.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped bar room to the front which is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and small stools, there was a TV on showing F1 qualifying rounds.
There is a separate lounge to the rear which is larger, this room is carpeted and has bench seating and normal tables and chairs, there is another large room to the rear of the lounge down a corridor, this room is quite long and oblong shaped, the front area seemed to be devoid of anything, there is a bar football table and darts board to the rear.
The pub is a Marstons tied house, there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Jennings Cockerhoop which went down well, the other beers were Hobgoblin and Bank's Sunbeam.
This is a proper old pub that i was quite happy having a drink in.
