Modern bar, a single square room with a stripped back and semi-distressed look – bare brick walls, exposed RSJs, that sort of thing. There are some 1920’s/30’s picked glass and leaded windows to admire. Two pumps at the bar with the solitary offering being Timothy Taylor Landlord which was in decent nick (NBSS 3). 5.5

Looking like a large detached 1930s house with a porch on steroids, inside is a single square room with the counter to the centre left. Tile, parquet (on the tables too) and board flooring from some previous incarnation no doubt, the leaded and stained glass side windows have deco patterns. Originally it was a pub called the New Inn according to WhatPub. There’s a mix of wall treatments too with exposed brick, plaster and old wood, not a lot of decor and a couple of screens. Beer wise there was a poor Taylor’s Landlord and their Knowle Spring with the clip reversed, and a horseshoe had a range of pretty mundane kegs.

Alan Winfield left this review about The New Inn
The New Inn is a decent looking stand alone pub that is situated in the middle of Farsley.
Once inside there is a single oblongish shaped room with the bar on the left side, there is a pool table to the front left, the room is carpeted and the seating comfy bench type and small stools.
There was one real ale on the bar which was John Smiths Cask, this was a decent drink.
Decent background music was playing and the pub was very busy with a good mixed bunch on my Saturday dinner visit.
This is a decent and lively pub.
