Old Boots left this review about The Old Crown
Traditional pub inside, basic but mainly unspoiled, oil cloth floor over boards, possibly original tiling round the counter, tongue and groove lower walls with green anaglypta above. A single long room across the width of the building but probably two rooms originally judging by doors and ceilings. There’s a raised windowless area at one end, several screens, darts, piped music (radio) and a pool table. Basic wooden furniture throughout and sporting photos decor. The counter has three pulls, Landlord on one, a Taylor’s clip reversed in the middle and nowt on the third, two horseshoes and a Carling solo for keg needs, all fairly standard brands.
