A Craft Union traditional type of place, two bars knocked into one but separated by a residual wall and it retains original features above the picture rail level. Otherwise it’s modernised in a professional way, not too much grey paint, geometric patterned carpet and a cheap but panelled counter. Here on the counter we have two pulls, Taylor’s Landlord (ok) and Black Sheep Blonde plus a trio of T-bars with a selection of very usual suspects. Cream walls with a fair number of screens on sport dotted about, old photo decor in the main bar. Machines and similar furnishings in the part to the right which is counter less, in between is a little alcove with a table, seating and an old map of Farsley on the ceiling. The mobility scooters pictured should give a clue to the demographic at work here. Funny smell in the place, not sure if it was the pub or the customers, a bit like lilies, but not a care home smell and it’s a friendly place.

The Bay Horse is a stand alone stone built pub.
Once inside there is a decent sized oblong shaped room to the front left, the room has comfy bench seating and chairs, plus some small stools,it is bare boarded, there are three TVs in the room, the two large ones were showing cricket, the small one was showing horse racing.
There is a separate pool room to the front right.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which went down well, the other beer was John Smiths cask.
The pub was very busy on my Saturday afternoon visit with younger sporty types.
