The Elephant has a narrow frontage and entrance which faces the market place.
Once inside the pub is quite big with a decent sized room,there is comfy bench seating to the front with chairs,the bar is on the mid right side,there are a couple of tall tables and stools opposite the bar,the rear area narrows and has normal tables and chairs,there is a pool table to the rear.
There are no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley smooth which was cold,the other keg option was the even worse John Smiths Extra Cols Crap.
There was a couple of TVs with the one to the front showing music videos,the rear one was showing cricket.
The pub was very busy like most in the town on my Wednesday dinner visit.
