The Manor House is a stone built pub that is set in a terrace.
The pub is signed as a Thwaites tied house.
Sadly the pub was closed and under renovation when i tried to visit it.

A Thwaites tied house, set in a stone terrace, just on the edge of the town centre. Internally, it’s a fairly plain, open plan affair, divided into four drinking areas. Walls are white artex, dotted with the odd print, there’s a real fire to the right on entering, plus a dart board to the left of the bar, but otherwise, not an awful lot worthy of comment.
At the bar there are normally four regular beers in Original, Wainwright, Lancaster Bomber and Nutty Black. Also, a pump devoted to guest beers, on this occasion Castle Rock ‘Harvest Pale’. Opting for the Black and Pale, they were both in good nick and service from the young couple behind the bar was friendly and welcoming.
As our party were the only drinkers in the place, on a mid-week afternoon, it’s very hard to comment on the feel of the place. However, I’d suggest a low key local isn’t too far wide of the mark. It’s not really a ‘must visit’ on the Otley circuit and I couldn’t envisage an extended session here, but I liked it enough to possibly call again, for a flying pint, when next in town.

A Thwaites tied house although there were three guests from Copper Dragon, Taylors and Batemans on the six pumps when I called in. Sadly no Nutty Black just Original and Wainwrights from Thwaites. Another open plan pub with the bar counter towards the back on one side, there are two areas to each side of the door reflecting the double front origins. It's carpeted through out and the walls and ceilings are rough artex. A bland modern barcounter but there are some nice old bench seats and cast iron tables, the walls have a few interesting prints etc. As it's on the edge of the town centre and I was there at lunchtime it was a bit quiet, it looks to be more a sedate locals pub than a couple of places in the centre. Friendly enough place and the beer was very acceptable. The toilets are named Lord and Lady of the Manor.
