The signage says Dining Public House and they’re not kidding, the whole front of the building is a restaurant while there’s a small bar towards the back in what appears to be a later extension. This has a short counter in the back to the left and some high seating. Finished in exposed stone and with a neat parquet floor, it has decent service but I found it dispiriting. Two horseshoes fill the available counter space and serve a normal range of mass market lagers, ciders, John Smiths Smooth, Neck Oil and Guinness. Toilets are upstairs.

The Weavers Arms is a stone built pub that is situated on the southern edge of Ossett.
Once inside there is a square shaped room with the bar on the right side,there is comfy bench seating to the front and two chesterfield settees to the left,there is a pool table in a small area to the rear left.
There was a TV on showing Ross County v Celtic,decent background music was playing.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Tetley bitter,this was a decent enough drink.
This is a decent enough pub that i was happy enough walking to.
