The Park Tavern is quite hard to find as it is hidden away in the back streets of Ossett.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing, there is bench seating on the left side with chairs and small stools, there is a pew seat to the front right, the rear left area has a pool table.
There were no real ales on the bar,the only bitter option was John Smiths smooth crap which lived up to its name.
For entertainment there was a TV showing Ghana V Algeria in the Africa Cup.
There were about 6 other customers in on my Saturday afternoon visit, all older men.
This is not really a pub to go out of your way to do.

A medium sized village pub, recently taken over by Sue. The main bar is L-shaped and well laid out with a good selection of beers at reasonable prices. The recent addition of double glazing means that entertainment has returned.
Car parking is provided at rear.
