The Cock and Bottle is situated on Ossett's pedestrianised shopping street.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room to the rear,this room has a low ceiling,it is carpeted and the seating is normal tables and chairs,there is a pool table to the left,this room was quite busy and the people running the pub had put hot roast potatoes on the bar which was a nice touch.
There is a decent sized room to the front which is oblong shaped,there were normal tables and chairs in this room but it was empty on my Saturday afternoon visit.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Belhaven Best which was not too bad for a keg bitter,the other beer was John Smiths Smooth Crap.
Background music was playing.
This is a decent pub just a shame about the lack of one real ale.
