An award winning two bar pub on the outskirts of Wakefield, six hand pulls of well kept and interesting beers await the intrepid beer explorer. There are also two craft kegs on offer, two from Magic Rock on this occasion. Nicely decorated in a modern style but with traditional fittings, there is bench seating in modern fabrics with wooden tables and wheel back chairs. Cream walls are decorated with old indentures and plans. It's not the most charismatic of pubs but the beer quality certainly makes up for that, I managed to slip in after work in the area I just wish I hadn't been driving.
