Old Boots left this review about The Robin Hood

An old terraced double fronted pub now opened out a little, a snug is to the right with banquette seating and a dart board. On the left is a larger bar with the servery to the rear right, three pulls with Landlord, Ossett Blonde and blank, Murphys and Moretti on solos and Carling, Cruz and a couple of ciders on a low solo. New flag floor in the lefthand room, boards and exuberant wall paper to the right. Banquette seating to the left is supplemented by a brace of tall tables. There’s a couple of screens and machine in the left room and old photo decor / piped music throughout. The piped music is the bar staff’s choice as the Stones Paint it Black was turned off in favour of something dreary by The Killers. Some steps at the back lead up to a beer garden and smoking area. The gents has the deepest trough I’ve ever come across. A decent local no frills pub with friendly staff (poor taste in music though).

Will Larter left this review about The Robin Hood

One of several village pubs on Kirkgate, this one made out of two small buildings. It's quite pleasant and comfortable, and service was friendly and welcoming. The bar has three hand pumps, with Ossett Blonde, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Black Sheep Bitter. I went for the Black Sheep, which was very good. It was quiet the afternoon when I was here, but a combination of live music, a DJ and karaoke is promised on Saturdays; luckily this was a Tuesday.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Robin Hood Inn

The Robin Hood is a stone built pub that is situated on Sildens busy shopping street.
Once inside the main room is oblong shaped, there is a stone floor, the seating is bench type and small stools, there was also a real fire on the go to the left, the TV to the rear was showing music videos.
There is a separate pool room to the front right.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which went down well, the other beers were Tetley Cask and GK IPA.
The pub was fairly busy on my Saturday dinner visit, with most drinkers being in their 40s or 50s.
No broken glass or fighting on my visit.
This seemed to be a decent enough pub to have a couple of drinks in.
