The pub is now warm and welcoming. There are usually 5 or 6 well kept real ales available. It is on the K3 Keighley to Hebden Bridge bus route (hourly), and also on the K14 and K15 circular buses through the villages from Keighley.

I have been here a few times and it has always been a drab experience.The place is always cold,unwelcoming,with few choice of ales.The food is over priced and very poor and the staff not particularly friendly.My advice-drive past it till you come to the excellent Waggon and Horses further up the hill,or go to the other great pub by the Leeming Wells hotel.
