A well presented pub, which was quite upmarket in décor and presentation. The manager was smart and slightly polished and the main emphasis here was their food menu and dining. The pub consisted of a central bar as you enter, with a pebble tiled floor, which was unusual. A traditional oak panelled room situated on the right was set up for dining.
Most of the walls were wallpapered and the buttoned banquette seating was finished in cream leatherette, the bar front and counter was finished in pine.
Two handpumps Saltaire Blonde and Black Sheep, we went for the Saltaire, which was excellent.
The pub is run by Punch Taverns and has a four star AA rating. The manager was friendly and chatty, well worth a visit for the beer quality alone.

The Craven Heifer is a stone built pub that is at the top end of Addingham.
Once inside the main bar room is to the front left, this room is oblong shaped and has comfy bench seating facing the bar, there was a fire roaring away to the right, there is a larger square shaped room to the front right which i think is more of a dining room.
There is another separate room to the rear left which has comfy bench seating.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter which was a decent drink, the other beer was Saltaire Blonde.
Background music was playing and food was also being served.
This is an upmarket pub,not really my sort of pub.
