Backstreet local about a 10-minute walk from Dewsbury town centre.

The L-shaped room has a cosy atmosphere. Apparently there is a smaller bar at the rear. With only a couple of other customers present, we sat at the front of the main room and chatted with the landlady. Tetley's Cask was the solitary real ale, with 4 handpulls all clipped with this beer.

Nice and friendly pub that could do with another ale or two to appeal further.
