The George is a stone built pub that is about a 5 minute walk down a very steep hill from the Butchers Arms.
Once inside the main room is L shaped and is divided into two areas,there is comfy bench seating and small stools in the bar area,there is a pool table to the rear left,the room is carpeted,the TV was showing horse racing.
No real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Worthington keg crap,which was a pretty crap drink,the other keg bitters were John Smiths Smooth Crap and Tetley smooth crap.
This is a decent enough pub,just a shame there was not one real ale on the bar.

Nice clean pub Great landlady but the barmaid gives you huge heads on yer beer lol. Sandwiches available with an array of filling's (Chicken,Stuffing, Apple sause ? What's all that about pmsl )
