After many years of neglect, The Queen's Head finally recieved a major makeover during the summer of 2007. Once again, this pub is starting to build up a healthy customer base. The pub now serves exceptionally good food, and their Sunday Lunches are great value, and recommended by many I have spoken to. Thwaites have invested well into this establishment and the exterior now has an attractive welcoming feel about it, something it has sadly missed for so many years.
* The unpainted front photo was taken in June 04 and the newer cream fronted photo was taken in Jan. 08
* The new frontage was built in the summer of 2007
