Much more a restaurant than a pub, the food here has always been, in my opinion, consistently good, whether eating in the restaurant or the carvery there is a good choice on offer and food is served hot and fresh, service could be a little better regarding wiping of tables and such like, and the drinks prices are a little on the steep side. We keep going to this establishment, maybe four or five times a year and will continue to do so as long as standards are maintained.

Very popular pub set between Whitwood & Altofts. Very popular for it's bar meals & carverys.
