Easily reached by a footpath next to the bus stop outside the neighbouring Dusty Miller, this is a much more traditional village pub in traditional local stone. There are four hand pumps with three beers on. I went for Boltmaker, which had nearly two pints poured off before pouring mine as it was the first of the day (NBSS 2.5 - a bit cold) which made me feel a bit awkward as I was only having a half, but when I checked the time I found I was well ahead of kick off at Brighouse Town so had a half of Saltaire Blonde too (NBSS 4). A proper locals pub and well worth a visit (frequent bus service from town).
