A bit of a climb from the Red Rooster up the cobbled hill, but well worth it. The interior consists of a front lounge on the right. The main bar is positioned in the back lounge along with two further rooms, one of which had a pool table.
The interior decor was predominantly grey and maroon painted woodwork, including the bar area.
Two ales on handpump Vocation Heart & Soul and Moorhouse's Blonde Witch. The Blonde Witch was flying across the counter to the local blokes in the front lounge, who were chatting away and laughing and joking, and this was around 1pm on a Saturday.

Backstreet locals pub that had not been open when I'd first passed by earlier in the afternoon. It now opens at 4pm on weekdays.

As I recall, there were rooms either side of a corridor as you enter, with the main room and the bar itself in a room at the rear. Blonde Witch is the real ale here. Bar staff were friendly.
