Alan Winfield left this review about The Springfield Hotel
The Springfield Hotel is a stone built pub.
Once inside the pub has two separate rooms, the room to the left is oblong shaped and runs to the rear, the seating is bench type and small stools to the front, there is a pool table to the rear, the room is carpeted.
There is a smaller room to the right which is bare boarded and has bench seating, there is a darts board and the TV to the right was showing football.
No real ales on the bar,the keg bitter was Worthington cream crap, this was poor but drinkable.
Not really a pub to go out of your way to do like i did,but i was pleased to do it.
