Small, mid terrace, boozer but with a couple of rooms each side at the front that were not in use on my visit; the doors to the front rooms were numbered for some reason lost to time. Everyone was in the back bar where the counter is, no pulls just the little boxes and a merry band of locals. As it’s a Sam’s pub it’s fairly unspoiled, a basic late Victorian pub, it does have an outside drinking/smoking area. Lots of banter among the older regulars, Mr Humphrey cropped up in conversation of course. I really enjoyed this pub.

The Red Lion is a smallish pub and in a terrace in the fairweather green area of Bradford.
Once inside there are two rooms with a smallish basic bar and a larger comfortable lounge which is the room i went in.
This pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house and their one real ale Old Brewery bitter was on the bar this was very cheap and a really nice drink.
The pub was very busy with drinkers on my visit and i quite liked this pub.
