This is a two storied pub. The downstairs area is pleasant enough and nicely decorated if a bit bland. There's a room to the rear right with comfy chairs and some interesting pictures on the walls. It's a shame Rob (below) didn't visit the upstairs as the ceiling of the main bar is a fairly recent edition as it used to be a high ceiling banking hall. The crowning glory of the pub is the excellent and ornate roof plus a stained glass window. Plenty more tables and chairs up here all in elegant surroundings. Six handpumps on the bar all serving a very safe selection of local ales. My pint of Pennine Hair Of The Dog was in decent nick though.

I have been to the Old Bank a few times when in Bradford so about time I put up a review. I wasn't intending on visiting yesterday but due to train delays I escaped the station and decided to take myself for a final swift half in here before heading home. At the bar, six hand pumps with five of those in service. I had a Lemon and Ginger Bitter by Coach House (£1.65-ish for a half). Also on offer Doom Bar, Collie Wobbler by Old Spot, Gold(?) by Saltaire, and by the time I was leaving the pub the sixth pump was having Naylor's Gold pulled through, bringing that one into service.

It's hard to say that the pub is anything special but it's a good solid pub with a few real ales on. There is a main room in front of the bar and then a further room at the back to the side of the bar with more tables and chairs. Toilets are upstairs and there may be a further seating area up here but I have never investigated.

The Old Bank is situated just round the corner from the Ginger Goose and is also an early opener,so handy for me before starting my proper pub crawl.
Once inside there is a decent sized l shaped room which is bare boarded, the bar is on the right side, the seating in the main area is all tall tables and high wood stools, there is a more comfortable area to the rear right which is carpeted and has comfy chairs and tables.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bradford Northern Soul which was a very nice drink and also quite cheap, the other beers noted were Naylors Snowstorm,Moorhouse White Witch and Coach House Toffee Ale.
Background music was playing and the pub was almost empty on a horrible wet Saturday morning.
I thought that was a decent enough city centre pub to have a few drinks in.
