The only GBG 2025 listed pub on the Headland, sadly it was closed on a Saturday lunchtime when I tried to visit so couldn’t enjoy the choice of three changing beers described in the GBG. The GBG does say winter hours may vary but no indication of limited ones in the summer. Odd “Pirates of the Carribean” type pub sign. If visiting beware of the building opposite which has been colonised by nesting Kittiwakes as the white pavements will testify.

Enjoyed our visit last month to this pub with a good choie of beer available. There were a lot of empty handpulls, and I was told these come in use when there are beer festivals. We selected and enjoyed Yard of Ale Tardbird, Roundhill Billas Bitter and Roundhill Sorachi and Coe.
