Alan Winfield left this review about The Lane Ends
The Lane Ends is a large pub which overlooks an island where five roads converge.
Once inside the pub has been opened out into a large single oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub.
The bar faces, the seating is comfy bench type and chairs, the room is carpeted and seems quite smart, there is a raised area to the right, the left side has a full sized snooker table to the rear and a pool table to the front, the TVs were showing sky sports.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Saltaire Blonde which went down well after a run of keg only pubs, the other real ale was Tetley Cask.
The pub was really busy on my mid Saturday afternoon visit with a good mix of drinkers.
