In spite of the name; no not very Irish, it does have two Guinness founts alongside the rather limited range of Strongbow, Carling, Carlsberg and two smooths; Worthington and John Smiths. Old style inside with a wildly floral carpet and leatherette banquettes at cast iron based tables, wallpapered walls with sporting décor here and there, some related to Bradford City of course including the modern etched windows. U shaped and open plan inside with a U shaped servery, founts are on the longer outward face. There’s a funny fag like smell inside probably from smokers in the doorway judging by the strategically placed bucket by the front door. Standard fittings of a couple of screens, a machine and music from local radio, more a locals, local.

This is supposed to be an Irish pub, but it didn't feel very Irish on my visit. It didn't feel like much of anything. There's a horseshoe shaped bar, but no real ale and no features of any kind really. The barmaid was friendly though as she served me my half of Carling which was £1.20. There were a group in the corner trying to explain time zone differences and jetlag to a very thick women who just didn't understand the idea at all. Maybe it was a bit Irish after all. :-))

Built as part of the Longlands estate in Bradford City Centre, the Harp of Erin is a welcoming little place. Not much in the way of real ales other than one or two from the major breweries but very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Have a karaoke night either Fridays or Saturdays every week. Good as a stop off point on the way to the New Beehive Inn.
