Alan Winfield left this review about The Bulls Head
The Bulls Head is a sturdy looking stone built pub.
Once inside there is a decent sized single room with the bar facing, there is a pool table to the front right, the left side is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and chairs, there are also some normal tables and chairs, there is a TV to the left which was showing horse racing.
Despite the sign outside saying Cask Ales, there were none on the bar,i had a drink of keg WM Youngers bitter which was drinkable, the other keg bitter was John Smiths smooth crap.
Background music was playing.
The pub was very warm on a horrible cold and wet day.
I thought this was a decent and comfortable pub.
The friendly landlord said this was the last pub on the Great Horton road before hitting the City Centre,so i bailed out and got a bus into town.
