Alan Winfield left this review about The Crown
The Crown is a small corner pub that is on the busy halifax road and opposite the Butchers Arms.
Once inside there is a small oblong shaped bar to the right, there is a pool table close to the entrance, the seating is bench type which faces the bar,the room is carpeted, there was a TV on but i can not remember what was on it,there is a smaller lounge to the left which has bench seating and is carpeted.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Worthington crap, which was a pretty poor drink, the other keg bitter was John Smiths smooth crap.
This is a proper old unaltered pub, lets hope it stays this way.
