The Old House at Home was the first of two pubs we visited in this area of Worthing. There is a single bar which stretches back to a conservatory. Outdoor seating is limited at the front of the pub. Although there is a larger enclosed garden area at the rear.
Staff initially had doubts as to whether there were any tables available in the garden. Luckily, a group of rather boozy veterans of some description were starting to filter out in dribs and drabs. They'd clearly been there a while.
Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter is the regular beer here. Guests were Sharp's Atlantic & St Austell Tribute. Watching the boozy veterans was far more memorable than the beer selection.
