Strongers . left this review about The Wheatsheaf
The Wheatsheaf is an L shaped pub that was fairly busy during my recent Saturday early evening visit. There is a plasma screen that was switched off (no Sky Sports) and there was some low background music playing. I counted four hand pumps that were drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar, Harveys Best, Hopback’s Summer Lightening and Arundel’s Sussex Gold. Amstel was also available alongside a standard draught range and the pub grub was priced around £7 for a main. Live music is advertised for every Friday/Saturday night and there is an open mic night every Tuesday.
There are a couple of picnic tables out the front and there is a paved beer garden full of picnic tables at the rear.
I thought that this place was ok, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.
