September 2015. The G&D has become my local. Good real ale well looked after. Not a hair will be turned if you think its not up to standard, they will replace it with no questions. Great old building in village like surroundings. Four clearly defined areas within and a large garden out back. Busy over the weekends and can be noisy, but its how a pub should be. Age group mostly over 30s.

This is the typical local pub in the heart of a old village. Really old world inside and very comfortable. You can have tasters and there is sometimes a good beer on. There are 4 real ale pumpes 2 of which are youngs and they could be in better condition. In early spring there is an outdoor beer festival which is a very popular event and is well worth attending.
