Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Three Horseshoes

The Three Horseshoes was just about my favourite pub of a visit to West Sussex on Saturday. It has a lovely olde worlde interior with 4 small rooms and a large garden overlooking some beautiful South Downs countryside. Plenty of people were enjoying the garden despite a chill in the air. Some were sat around a fire pit. Signs in the garden asked dog owners to keep their pets on a lead due to there being chickens in the garden. But we didn't see any.

We chose to sit in a small room down some steps at the far right-hand end. It had just 3 tables, one of which was occupied by a couple dining and it wasn't long before another rather snooty couple arrived with a couple of dogs wanting to take over the room and have it for themselves.

3 cask ales are served on gravity - Bowman's Swift One, Flowerpots Buster's Best and another one from Hopback labelled as Golden Best. The barmaid couldn't tell me what the real name for the beer was, but I'm almost certain it was their GFB.

Whilst this seems to be a place popular with upper class diners, both the interior and the garden are worthy of a visit and the cask ales certainly seemed to be popular.
