A big fire with comfortable seats; a table or two behind; stools at the bar; a room here; one over there; a big garden outside: plenty of options at this busy village pub. Naturally, they're keen on their food, but it's vary reasonably priced. The ale selection has been expanded in recent years. While London Pride & Landlord seem to be regulars, you'll also find another 4 or so well-chosen offerings from local breweries, all served in good nick. There's usually a couple of beer festivals every year too - I'll be following that with keen interest.
