I visited the Dog and Bacon on Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago when it was fairly quiet. The interior is split into the public ‘Corner Bar’ to the right and a second bar to the left. The bars of both drinking areas were lined with standard draught including three hand pumps that were drawing Tanglefoot, First Call and Sussex from Hall & Woodhouse. Both bars also house a television that was airing BBC sport and the public bar has a dartboard. I didn’t spot any advertisements for Sky/BT Sport and there was no background music playing. Outside the front of this pub are a few picnic tables under a jumbrella and to the right is a car park.

The Dog and Bacon is in a leafy area of Horsham and a good walk from the middle of town.
This is a nice looking pub that used to be a Kings&Barnes tied house now Hall and Woodhouse,there were two rooms in this pub and we went in a smart and comfortable lounge and there were four real ales on here we had a drink of K&B Sussex and this was very nice the other beers were Badger best,Tanglefoot and a seasonal beer.
This was a nice pub and worth the walk.
