Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Green Man

Popular food-led pub overlooking the village green, with almost all tables taken up by those dining on a Friday lunchtime. The central counter serves the two-part interior, with both ends having a few more tables in alcoves. There are also some wooden benches at the front as well as a rear beer garden. With three of the four handpumps being used, I found Landlord and Abbot as well as the obligatory - in these parts - Harvey's (£5.40).

The "other" pub on the village green. This one a GK pub. Busy venue with diners and families in for the most part. Left hand part had a big fireplace (fire obviously not lit) against the wall with lots of horse brasses on the walls around. Bar against back wall just inside the front door serving both sides with a narrower part to walk through to a similar seating area on the right-hand side. Small, unkempt, beer garden out the back. Plenty of seating out the front but not used this evening with the weather having turned a bit last couple of hours.

Four beers on hand pump, TT Landlord, Caledonian Deuchars, Harvey’s Sussex Best and GK Abbot (but no IPA). The Harvey’s was good but not great. A narrow keg offering lacking any imagination or variety comprising San Miguel, Amstel, Moretti, Guinness with two ciders (Thatcher's Gold and Stowford Press).

OK venue but lacking anything to make it better than an average pub. Definitely got the impression the client base was very local centric and hard to see this being a destination to head to from afar.
