Cask was the Two Horses Pale from Firebird and Harvey's Best & Old Ale. Keg was Inch’s, own branded Eight Bells New Brew, Silly Moo cyber cider (whatever a cyber cider is heaven knows), Guinness, Heineken AF, Peroni, Joosy hazy pale ale from UnBarred, Hawkstone lager and Cruz.
Traditional village pub. Outside seating at side and rear beer garden with picnic benches. Bar area in middle inside front entrance with original tiles, wooden bar counter with tall stool seating at the counter. Church pew opposite under window serving a few small tables. To right of entrance is boarded, upright piano and some comfy chairs by a roaring fire. To left of bar area is another roaring fire leading into a room with original flagstones, regular tables and chairs and served by end of same bar counter, but with no taps or pumps on that part of the bar counter. There is a restaurant area beyond that seating area with bare boards with regular tables and chairs. Low ceiling, beams, no music or screens to distract and generally a really nice village pub.

The Eight Bells is in the centre of Bolney village, just across from the church. It has a small garden area at the side of the pub, which was peaceful and was catching the sun on our late Spring visit.
Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter is the regular ale here. 2 guests were from Hurst. These were described to us as Bitter & Blonde, but I suspect they were actually Founder's Best Bitter & Equinox.
A nice village pub which was much better than I had expected.
