Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ardingly Inn
Substantial village inn, now owned by Hall & Woodhouse, and still offering accommodation as well as all the usual pub amenities and hosting regular live music. However, the interior has been opened out to leave an overall L-shaped layout, and the whole place has been comprehensively refurbished in a semi-modern style, so it's not as characterful inside as you initially might initially think. However, at least it's open as expected, and a couple of Badger cask beers were available from the three handpumps: Best Bitter and Fursty Ferret (£5.00).

Pretty decent pub attached to a small hotel that seems to be popular in the area. L shaped bar with seating of various types around the bar. Dartboard, but not obviously a dart playing venue. A family that were obviously staying in the hotel were having a whale of a time playing darts the whole hour I was there. Can’t help but feel the place was a bit over-styled and would be more authentic with a rustic look fitting of the area. Was a surprisingly lively venue late on a Tuesday evening with a mixture of hotel guests and locals enjoying the only pub actually in the village of Ardingly itself.
Had the Fursty Ferret and the Best from Badger on hand pump. Several flavoured Thatchers ciders on the same tap contraption, Cruz, Amstel, Guinness, Thatchers Gold, West Coast IPA from the Badger brand Outcast and their own branded Ardingly Inn lager!
Have been past this place many times over the last 10 years but this was my first venture inside and thought it was a pretty decent venue. Would definitely prefer over the other Ardingly venue on here!
