Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dorset Arms
Looks like this historic building has had a recent makeover, with the exterior now painted in the sort of light green shade that would normally shout 'gastropub' at you. However, it is not as bad as that inside - just a bit anonymous in the semi-modern style that is characteristic of refurbished Greene King pubs. Although it must have lost a lot of its original character, elements such as the entranceway through the building to reach the car park are still of interest. Beerwise, the selection is pretty predictable but the quality of my pint of IPA was fine (although I wish they didn't feel the need to use sparklers).
