Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Maypole
Plain, traditional pub that must once have been much bigger as one of the adjoining Coopers Mews houses still has the original etched glazing. Anyway, it now comprises a small single room of almost micro-pub proportions, with just three tables. The counter, located to the right-hand side of the entrance has a pair of handpumps, but only Harvey's (£4.20) was being served (although it was in great shape, and there are plenty of other pump clips for other local and regional beers behind the bar showing what's gone before).
