Strongers . left this review about The Cherry Tree
The Cherry Tree is a Hall & Woodhouse pub where the large right-hand side operates as the restaurant, which was empty during a recent late midweek afternoon visit. The small bar is found in the left-hand side where a serving counter across the rear wall supports premium keg and Carlsberg alongside two hand pumps that were drawing Fursty Ferret and Tangle Foot. On the right-hand wall is a wood and tile fireplace where the television above was switched off while some chilled dance music played in the background. There’s not much seating, but the bar is so small that it still feels like the furniture has been shoehorned in. There is more seating on the other side of an exposed brick wall that runs up the left, but again this is a small area. Out the back is a large beer garden with picnic tables and covered seating under a large marquee roof. This is still a pub, but it’s not somewhere I would revisit just for a beer, that is unless I was chauffeured there on a nice sunny day when the garden would come into play.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cherry Tree
Hall & Woodhouse food-led pub on the outer fringe of the 'Gatwick catchment', with dining rooms dominating the building's footprint. However, there is a compact bar on the left-hand side with a small lounge beyond (although the main table there was also set with cutlery), and a good-sized beer garden. Best Bitter and Fursty Ferret (£5.00) available from a pair of handpumps.
