Park Tavern is a wooden floored Fullers pub that gave me real Ealing vibes when I visited during a Six Nations rugby match on a recent Saturday afternoon when the pub was comfortably busy. The central L-shaped serving counter supports five hand pumps, four of which on a single bank were drawing Pride, HSB, Hophead and Butcombe’s Rare Breed. Premium keg including Asahi and other stuff I don’t generally see were also available. High tables run opposite the counter up the left-hand wall and across the front of the pub. More seating runs under large etched mirrors up the longer right hand-side, in fact there are some nice traditional Victorian features throughout. This is a decent backstreet boozer in a great location opposite Priory Park, so I’ll certainly revisit next time I’m in the city.

A traditional Fullers house with a fair bit of dark wood paneling, lots of large mirrors on the walls, the ceiling beams were coverd in bygone beermats with the likes of Flowers IPA, Burton Ale and Ushers among their number. Four Handpumps offered up Pride, HSB, Seafarers and Hophead.
A decent pub.

A backstreet pub which feels a bit like an hotel bar. Some nice dark woodwork gives a cosy traditional feel. Restaurant area off to the right hands side. There is one TV screen but it seems used for major sporting events only. Beers from the wider Fullers range. A few tables are outside on the pavement.
