There’s no issue having just a beer in Muchos Nachos, in fact the friendly barman laughed when I asked if it was ok. Marketed as a Mexican cantina, I thought it felt more like a restaurant and I was surprised to find no light lunches, such as a burrito, on the menu. I went here expecting to have some food, but mid-crawl I can’t eat a full on £18 meal for lunch, so I stuck with half a lager from the standard keg range, Estrella Galicia was also available. The building is long and thin stretching from right to left past the central flagstone floored seating area of the bar. There was some 1960s US background music playing that I quite liked, but I’ll not be traipsing out of town to visit here just for a drink again.
