Slightly nicer vibe than the Neptune opposite. Looks like was two bars at one point, now knocked through, it's snokel-shaped internally with plastic greenery strung across the beams and ceilings on both sides. There bar is central with the majority of its length on the left-hand side. There are dining tables on the right-hand side 'snug' and to the end of the left-hand side before the conveniences. Sharp's Doom Bar and Harvey's Sussex Best (NBSS 2.5 and £2.20 a half) on the two handpulls. TVs on mute showing sport and a laid-back soundtrack playing in the background during my visit. There's a thin beer garden out back and a suntrap patio out front which was catching the Sun's rays on my early June Friday afternoon visit. Quieter and more mellow than opposite, but quite unmemorable to be honest.
